Michelle S. Schecter was born and continues to live in Brooklyn with her husband and her four children.  She is a licensed ultrasound technologist who returned to the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in the physician’s assistant program and is a licensed physician assistant.  She initially worked as a physician assistant at Maimonides Medical Center.  In 2006 she left Maimonides Hospital for private practice and joined Cross County Medical, PC. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Michelle has a special interest in cholesterol and diabetes management as well as dietary counseling.
